Our longtime clients undertook a decent renovation

Our longtime clients undertook a decent renovation all to add just 100 extra square feet of indoor space and expand their outdoor space. I love their vision for spending more time around the kitchen table with family and friends. As empty-nesters, an adjacent back patio is the perfect spot for a quiet cup of coffee or overflow cocktail space on the rare warm summer night here. These people have always had their priorities straight and I loved helping them execute this vision!

What a week! I was in NYC and New Jersey sourcing,

What a week! I was in NYC and New Jersey sourcing, visiting a fun new project, seeing art and generally trying to keep up with Ruthie. Then, I got to see Mina in Denver and take in some fresh air in the gorgeous mountains with my girl. Meanwhile, Christy and Arwen were setting some serious step records in High Point! It is always so great to get out and about and also so good to be home!

I have been on the road for over a week and am loo

I have been on the road for over a week and am looking forward to sitting back at my own desk tomorrow. Regrettably, this is not it!

We gave this former family room a second life as the client’s home office. The wood walls were painted in high gloss @farrowandball and a floating skirted desk is not only pretty, but practical hiding all cords. My amazing partners @proshading devised this lovely little skirt detail to keep the fabric out of the way while you work. No Sunday scaries over here!
